International Automotive Industry Forum

Exhibition company “Lenexpo” and the world famous Exhibition company “Messe Frankfurt” organize on 27-31 October 2010 in St.Petersburg XVIII International Automotive Exhibition “Auto+Automechanika. St.Petersburg 2010”. The Exhibition is a part of the international project «Automechanika Global», which includes 11 Exhibitions holding in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Within the framework of the Exhibition on 27-28 October is planned organization of the First International Automotive Industry Forum “Russian automotive industry: prospective ways of the development”. The main goal of the business program of the Forum, which organizers are “Lenexpo” and North-West Development and Investment Promotion Agency, is to present actual issues of the innovation development of the Russian automotive industry and implementation of the newest technologies to the automotive industry.

Organization of the Forum exactly in St.Petersburg is determined by the fact of the presence in the region international and national automotive enterprises clusters and also positive experience of the large international economic and scientific-industrial congresses.

Within the Forum branch specialists, business and government representatives, heads of the leading automotive assembling and automotive components productions will discuss such questions as governmental policy in the sphere of automotive industry and regulation of the automotive market in Russia, especially effective interaction of government and business in modern economical conditions, innovative decisions in the sphere of automotive industry and transfer of technologies. Participants of the Forum can hold negotiations with the potential partners within the Business Contacts Exchange, and also present their innovative projects taking part in the special competition of the Forum. Winner of this competition will get opportunity to present his project to the participants of the business program of the Forum.

We invite you to take part in the Forum and Exhibition, the main sections of which are:
• innovative projects of the leading automotive brands and production companies,
• expositions of the prospective automotive equipment samples as concept-cars, prototypes, electro mobiles, hybrid automobiles, environment friendly transport using alternative power, automobiles with the serial production. Besides this there will be represented the new sections of the Exhibition: innovative materials and technologies in the automotive industry, equipment for automotive equipment production, nanotechnology in the automotive industry, modern technologies in the raw materials procurement.
