During 14-17th September of 2010 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, the first foreign event - AutoInvest Germany: Business mission to Germany "Investment attraction to the Russian industry" was held within the framework of the main annual international conference on investment attraction to the automotive industry - AutoInvest.
This project was organized by the National Association of Producers of Automobile Components (NAPAK) and the North-West Development and Investment Promotion Agency jointly with Messe Frankfurt GmbH supported by the Eastern committee of the German Economy within the framework of the exhibition "Automechanika 2010, Frankfurt am Main, Germany". Beiten Burkhardt GmbH was the official partner of the business mission.
The main aim of the Business mission AutoInvest Germany 2010 is an expansion of the German-Russian industry cooperation and presentation of the investment potential of the subjects of the Russian Federation in a sector of the industrial cooperation and carrying on negotiations with representatives of the German business with the purpose of attraction of the foreign residents to industrial parks of the subjects of the Russian Federation.
The Business mission started on the 15th of September, 2010 with the Congress "Investments to the automobile sector in Russia. Development and prospects", which was held within the framework of Russian Day of the exhibition "Automechanika 2010, Frankfurt am Main, Germany". The leading experts and analysts of automotive market, such as O.Gulyaev (Minister of Industry and Transport of Ulyanovsk Region); V. Kiselevich (President of the St. Petersburg Association of Automotive Component Manufacturers (SPbAPAC)); S.Kuklin (First Vice Chairman, Head of Investments Department, Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity, Government of Leningrad Region); Y.Senko (Chairman of the Committee for Foreign Affairs, Vologda region Government); Dr. R.Linder (Director-general of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy); F.Shauff (Director-general of the Association of European Business in the Russian Federation) performed before Congress’ delegates and participants of the exhibition "Automechanika 2010, Frankfurt am Main, Germany".
Particular attention was given to analysis of condition of Russian automobile industry and strategy of development of automotive sector till the year 2020, and also dealing the question of state support measures and development of the German-Russian industry business collaboration in sphere of investments and industrial cooperation. With this purpose the full information about legal aspects of activity of enterprises-producers of autocomponents in Russia, from choice of legal structure and creation a company to explanation of key specifies of Russian taxation and customs legislation, was given to German businessmen.
The representatives of Russian delegation expressed their great interest in the expansion of the international cooperation. So, Saint-Petersburg, Leningrad region, Vologda oblast, Ulyanovsk region presented their potential and investment possibilities, and the representatives of leading industrial enterprises expressed interest in creation joint manufactures in the automobile sector.
After Congress’ events delegates attended the exhibition "Automechanika 2010, Frankfurt am Main, Germany" where negotiations with representatives of the German business were carried on.
On the 16th of September 2010 the German-Russian round table «Investments and industrial cooperation» and a number of negotiations with representatives of the German business were carried on at the office of one of the leading independent German law firms «Beiten Burkhardt».
And of course, business mission to Germany had its’ cultural program. In particular, excursion to a wine-making region Rheingau, wine-making factory "GEORG BREUER", which is famous for its’ wines "Riesling" and "Spätburgunder", was organized.
A special point of the program of the business mission was the visit of the oldest Opel plant, which includes the International evolutional Opel centre.
General Director of "General Motors Auto" Ltd H.J.Michel took the part of interpreter and said about the plan’s history, the latest achievements in German motoring and effective organization of the process of automobile production.
